So she's not - if they'd get too close to her somehow or to the people she cares about, then it'd be a different story, but as long as it's like this she's not quite fighting herself. It's exactly why she instead has time to contact the people she cares about, make sure they're okay - or she'd jump in to help them all the same, really.
When she gets to Battler's name on the bracelet she.. actually hesitates. She's still mad at him and hurt over the whole deal with marrying Beatrice, and they've grown distant because of it, but it's not like she wants him to die either.
